We worked with Sumo Salad to conceptualise and create the My Sumo sub-brand, further increasing awareness of their design-your-own salads. The brand went on be to used in the My Sumo app and the subsequent campaign created 20% uptake in the under 35 demographic.

Store Banners

Working within the framework of an established franchise network presents an unique set of constraints. The Sumo Salad project not only represents the central business but also the businesses of each individual franchise holder. Ultimately it is these constraints that lead to the challenges that in turn present the greatest rewards for all parties. The brief was to create a sub-brand that would allow Sumo Salad to position themselves as personalised, fresh, and healthy food alternative. The project was a truly collaborative process ensuring that the brand was not only separable from the primary brand but also maintained mainstream appeal.
